Laura J. Wellington - CEO

Laura J. Wellington, CEO, co-founded The Giddy Gander Company LLC in 2006. In conjunction with these two ventures, Ms. Wellington is also the co-founder and active President of Wellington Consulting Company and Wellington Financial Systems (New York City, New York) where she has developed and supported IT pricing systems for the past 17 years.

A former teacher, mother of four, and widow, Ms. Wellington's insight and understanding of children has proven itself invaluable to both her professional and personal lives. Her innovative accomplishments currently include the development of child related products geared towards making everyday parenting easier and extend into the mentoring of other young women through her association with NAWBO, NAFE, WBENC, and WPEO.

Her extensive nominations and awards include: 2004 Business Woman of the Year Award (NJ), 2004 Ronald Reagan Gold Medal Award for Entrepreneurial Vision & Business Achievements, 2006 Wonder Women of Toys, Women-to-Watch Award, Garden State Woman of NJ 2006, The Forbes Enterprise Award, and The Top 50 Women in Business. She holds her university's highest honor, The President's Award of Merit. She also sits on the Business Advisory Board for the Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Heidi Schwartz - VP, Strategic Alliances and Business Development

Heidi Schwartz is VP, Strategic Alliances and Business Development at The Giddy Gander Company LLC and is responsible for all licensing opportunities and successfully growing the Wumbler property. Heidi has extensive experience within the licensing, marketing and sales arenas within the consumer products industry.

Prior to joining Giddy Gander Heidi held key management roles in licensing and marketing for an international toy company and a leading direct response TV corporation. Heidi has built impressive licensing portfolios and has made strong, long lasting contacts within the industry.

Heidi earned a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Business and English from the State University of New York at Albany and holds a Masters of Science in Direct Marketing.
