Children’s Retail Store Doubles As Classroom For Kids!
By Michael M. Shapiro
Having opened its doors in November, The Wumbler Patch recently announced three innovative educational enrichment programs that work hand in hand with the sale of all Wumbler Patch merchandise.
Daily participation by its customers and their children in both the "Season of Giving" and "Adopt-a-Baby Wumbler" programs as well as the implementation of a unique, new class participation program directed towards elementary schools called "Make The World A Better Place with Me" program have all been designed to educate children to the social, global, and environmental responsibility children maintain in their youth and as adults towards each other and the rest of the world.
Laura J. Wellington, CEO of The Giddy Gander Company and creator of The Wumbler brand states, "The goal of the store is to mentor children to become leaders that understand the balance between human responsibility and profit!"
"The basis of The Wumblers brand and our new Wumbler Patch store has always been to teach children the importance of making the world a better place and giving back. It’s what this nation has been calling for and our unique approach allows us to answer that call in a fun way that will increase our odds for permanent positive change through our little ones!" cites Heidi Schwartz, VP of Strategic Alliances and Business Development.
